Roberto Delgado Sahagun “Beto” age 55, went to be with the lord on Monday March 24, 2025, peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family. Although a long term resident of Bolingbrook, Illinois Beto was born in Mexico on January 13, 1970. Roberto fought a courageous battle against cancer over the past 13 months, with such strength and determination, never giving up. Facing every challenge head on with the faith of god, he just kept fighting. He is out HERO. A great provider to his family, Roberto owned his own business DSR PAINTING INC. for the last 28 years. He was a master of all trades and did beautiful work. He enjoyed watching soccer, boxing and grilling over the weekend on a nice summer day and most of all he loved working and enjoyed waking up and doing his work and creating new things every day. He will be deeply missed and forever loved by everyone blessed to have known him. Beto is preceded in death by his parents, Roberto Delgado Garcia and Maria Isabel Sahagun Survived by his loving wife of 30 years Maria Ines. Devoted father to Adriana, Eduardo and Isabel Delgado. Also survived by his granddaughter Eztli Alonso and by his 3 sisters: Virginia, Rocio and Lucia Delgado Sahagun. Survived by his god children, Miguel Angel Garcia, Leticia Cervantes, Jesus Sahagun, Omar Sahagun and Sophia Sahagun and he will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Our family would like to thank everyone that has taken the time to say their final goodbyes to our father. Also a very special thank you to Roberto’s friends and family who have given unconditional support during these very difficult times. Especially all the family and friends of our dads who made all his wishes come true by visiting him. A Funeral visitation will be held on Saturday March 29, 2025 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Delgado Funeral Chapel located at 400 Landau Ave. Joliet, Illinois 60432. Roberto will be laid to rest at Panteon Municipal de Jamay, Jalisco, México. Roberto Delgado Sahagún “Beto” 55 años, partió a la presencia de nuestro señor el lunes 24 de marzo de 2025, en paz, en su hogar, rodeado de su amorosa familia. Aunque residió durante mucho tiempo en Bolingbrook, Illinois, Beto nació en México el 13 de enero de 1970. Roberto luchó valientemente contra el cáncer durante los últimos 13 meses, con gran fuerza y determinación, sin rendirse jamás. Enfrentando cada desafío con la fe en Dios, siguió luchando. Es nuestro HÉROE. Un gran proveedor para su familia, Roberto tuvo su propio negocio, DSR PAINTING INC., durante los últimos 28 años. Era un maestro en todos los oficios como un handyman y hacía un trabajo maravilloso. Disfrutaba viendo fútbol, boxeo y asando a la parrilla los fines de semana en un lindo día con la familia y sobre todo, le encantaba trabajar y disfrutaba despertarse, trabajar y crear cosas nuevas cada día. Lo extrañarán profundamente y lo amarán por siempre todos aquellos que tuvieron la suerte de conocerlo. Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Roberto Delgado García y María Isabel Sahagún. Le sobreviven su amada esposa durante casi 30 años de casados, María Inés Delgado. Padre devoto de Adriana, Eduardo e Isabel Delgado. Su nieta, Eztli Alonso, y sus tres hermanas, Virginia, Rocío y Lucía Delgado Sahagún; sus ahijados, Miguel Ángel García, Leticia Cervantes, Jesús Sahagún, Omar Sahagún y Sofía Sahagún; y numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas. Nuestro familia agradece a todos los presentes que se tomaron el tiempo para despedir a nuestro padre. También agradecemos especialmente a los amigos y familiares de mi papá, quienes nos brindaron su apoyo incondicional durante estos momentos tan difíciles.
