Jourdyn Williamson

Jourdyn Williamson was born on October 29, 1994 in Joliet, Illinois to Minda Williamson and Eric Gill Sr. She went home to be with her Heavenly Father on March 10, 2015 at Presence St Joseph Medical Center. Jourdyn accepted Christ in her life at an early age as her Lord and Savior. She attended Joliet Township High School and received her GED. Jourdyn held two jobs, she was employed at Thomas Toyota as a porter supervisor and at Kmart as a cashier. She also had a dream to become a nurse and was getting ready to attend nursing school. Jourdyn enjoyed shopping and dancing. One of her favorite things in life was her Michael Jordan shoes. And most of all she loved being with her family and friends. Jourdyn is preceded in death by her loving sons; Massiah J. Jones and Makhi J. Jones Jr., maternal grandmother; Karen Griffin and paternal grandfather; Clifton Gill, one sister; Erica Gill, great grandparents; Charles and Lenora Griffin Paul, one great aunt; Marttie Griffin and one uncle; Aleeto S. Barton. To carry on Jourdyn’s loving smile she leaves to cherish her memory her mother; Minda Williamson, father; Eric Gill Sr., two sisters; Macarielle, Kaylyn, five brothers; Justin, Eric, Ka Voscea, Tre Viontae and Adrian, her grandmother; Barbara Williams, aunts Gwen Griffin and Denise Gill, uncles Carneill, Eric (Tiana) Griffin, Leo Williamson and Terrance Gill. People special to Jourdyn in her life was her niece; Jhu Niyah and nephew; Justin Williamson, cousins De Viontae Griffin, Shovantae Jones and Tiffany Barton, friends; Makhi Jones Sr. and Breana Mayberry. Also a host of family members and friends.
