Anita Diaz Ochoa Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Anita Diaz Ochoa, Age 89, passed away suddenly on Tuesday February 22, 2022, surrounded by her caring and loving family. Born October 22, 1932 in Santa Maria del Oro, Jalisco, Mexico, Anita was also a life long resident of Addison & Joliet, Illinois. Anita fought all her life with asthma. She was very religious and prayed the rosary everyday alongside her husband, Primitivo Diaz. She is very much adored by her 8 children, 29 grandchildren and 30 great grand children. Her biggest passion was to care for her husband and family. Anita was full of laughter and liked to joke. She spoke highly of everyone that crossed her path. It was impossible not to love her. She enjoyed shopping and would make sure her husband was taken care of before she left. She was always ready with a suitcase and ready to travel with her better half. She played all types of card games and was hard to beat, had tremendous luck. Anita would give her last dollar to someone in need and never failed to call to wish you a happy birthday. She called everyone on a daily basis to see what everyone was up to. Many people would say “Never in my life, have I met anyone with such a good memory.” She will be immensely missed. Preceded in death by her parents, Maria Bernabe Magallon Nuñez and Zacarias Ochoa Bravo, sisters and brothers Rafael, Anita, Jesus, Maria de Jesus, Lupe, Maria, Luisa, and her daughter Martha. Survived by her loving and devoted husband Primitivo Diaz. Her children, Virginia (Juan), Baudelia (Jesus), Obdulia (Isaias), Juan, Jose (Margarita), Ana (Angel), Rosa Her grandchildren: Marycruz, Juan Angel, Yecenia , Blanca, Elizabeth, Jessica, Adriana, Maria, Alejandro, Rodolfo, Miguel, Juan, Samuel, Madelyn, Hector, Maritza, Roberto, Nancy, Jose, Franky, Annie, Angelina, Danny, Niko, Rico, John, Ava, Bella, Roman. Also survived by her 30 great grandchildren and two brothers Emiliano and Jose and two sisters Chuy and Maria, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends. The family would also like to thank her lifetime doctor Dr. Nunez for his special and attentive care.
