Maria Leida Morales Palma

Maria Leida Morales went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at the age of 41. She was surrounded by her family and passed peacefully. Maria was born on January 14, 1982, in Axocopan, Atlixco, Puebla, and later became a lifelong resident of Bolingbrook. Maria fought till the very end with terminal ovarian cancer, with such strength she made everyone aware that she would win this long battle. However, God had other plans. She not only joined God, but also joined her deceased dog, Daisy. Now they have reunited and both will no longer be in pain and alone. In her lifetime Maria did a lot for everyone and others. She was known as a brave, strong, and courageous woman. Even when she was ill the first thing in her head was “when can I go back to work?” She wanted the best for the kids and did whatever she could for them. She was also a great mother to her pets: Simon, Natalia, and Roccita. Her laugh, smile, and love were contagious and will always and forever be missed. In her final days she let everyone know that wherever she went she would always be there in their hearts and memories. She had much love for the lord and the same goes for the family. In her lifetime she completed her dream of going to beauty school. She graduated and became known as a creative hairstylist who was loved by everyone. She wasn’t taught how to cook, but managed to teach herself by observing others and adjusting recipes to make her food the best and was a perfectionist. She was the best cook to her kids. Not only was her cooking the best but she also loved doing her makeup and coordinating her outfits. She is the most beautiful mother in the world. Our mother was a self-taught, courageous woman, who taught us that no matter what life throws at us we should approach it by being brave and strong. She will always be remembered as the strongest mother in the world. Survived by her kids Julissa Romero and Rudy Romero. Eric, and her siblings: Carlos Morales, Beto Morales, Paco Morales, Karina Morales, and Diego Morales. Along with her mother and numerous friends, nieces, nephews, and other family members. A special thank you is given to everyone at Light ways Hospice who took very good care of her. As well as those who helped us out till the very end.
